Description
The Stables offers luxury self-catering apartments poised amongst the snowgums accommodating between 2 - 8 People. Each striking timber and granite chalet or apartment is fully self-contained, featuring luxury custom furnishings, the latest appliances, including CD/TV/DVD, microwave, fan-forced oven, dishwasher, laundry and superb views over the surrounding alpine region.
Your hosts are on hand to offer personal and friendly service throughout the year. Meals can be purchased from the room service menu or as a package in the award-winning restaurant. Supermarket, Delicatessen and Bottle Shop are in the nearby Perisher Ski Tube centre.
Situated in the heart of Perisher Valley, only about 300 m from the Skitube and about 400m from the lifts and close to cross country trails skiing is never far away. After a great day Courtesy afternoon shuttle operates daily from the Skitube Terminal between 3-5pm every 30 minutes. When you can kick back soaking up the view or soaking in a spa. Many chalets and apartments boast spa baths, under floor heating and open fires for those chilly winter nights.

Travelling By Car
Car must be left at the Bullock Flat parking area and the ski tube taken to Perisher followed by oversnow transport
* From Sydney: Take the Hume Highway south-west to Goulburn, then the Federal highway south to Canberra or Queanbeyan.
* From Canberra/Queanbeyan: Take the Monaro Highway south to Cooma, then the Snowy Mountains Highway south-west to Jindabyne.
* From Jindabyne to Bullocks Flat: Take the Thredbo Road (Alpine Way) to the skitube
Travelling By Air
The nearest commercial airports to Perisher Valley are at Cooma and Canberra.
The Snow Express Shuttle bus meets all flights to and from Snowy Mountains Airport at Cooma. Bookings are essential

No overnight parking is available in Perisher Valley. Access is via the Skitube
Oversnow transfers are available on arrival and departure days
Arrival day - from 3pm-10pm (midnight on Friday), a surcharge may apply for arrivals after 12.30am.
Departure day - transfers from 8am-10am plus a transfer at 2.30pm only. Bags can be stored at the property.
