The River Inn

The River Inn, Thredbo is a modern deluxe property - and the ONLY ski in, ski out hotel accommodation in Thredbo, with direct access to Friday Flat and THREDBOLAND (Childrens Ski School).  Don't trudge up and down the mountain trying to get to and from ski lifts. The River Inn Resort is 25 meters from ski lifts (Gunbarrel Express & Friday Flats). Chair lifts are literally at your back door.

This family friendly resort has cosy rooms equipped with a variety of bedding configurations (including inter-connecting rooms). All rooms also feature ensuite bathrooms, television, AUSTAR, DVD, refridgerator and tea/coffee making facilities.

Experience fine dining in the award winning in-house restaurant, relax in the Dragon's Lair Cocktail bar or experience great German beers in the Bavarian themed bar after a hard day on the slopes.

The Bavarian Themed Bistro Restaurant features a selection of imported beers served in 1/2 litre & 1 litre steins by barmaids in traditional costume.  Your why not enjoy a schnapps on our heated deck overlooking ski runs for you Apres ski drinks or BBQ lunch with live Entertainment every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday on the Deck.

Accommodation at the River Inn ranges from single to 6 + share rooms.

Family rooms with varying configuration to suit your family size and 2 rooms family rooms for extra space.

King &Trundle is for 2 adults and 2 children
Regular Family room is for 2 adults and up to 3 children 14yrs and under
2 Room Family room rate is for 4 people, (can sleep up to 6 people - extra charges apply for extra people)
Deluxe Suite up to 6 persons
Cots - $15 per stay - must bring own linen
The only restrictions on arrival and departure dates will be that we will not accept arrivals or departures for Saturdays.
1 night include breakfast, Sunday to Thursday Only
2 nights include breakfast & 1 dinner, weekend nights are Friday & Saturday
3 nights include breakfast &1 dinner
4 & 5 night include breakfast & 2 dinners 6 & 7 night include breakfast & 3 dinners
Minimum 5 night stay midweek for the weeks beginning Sunday 26 June 2010, Sunday 3 July 2010 and Sunday 10 July 2010. Check in must be on a Sunday for a 5 night stay or Friday for a 2 or 7 night stay during the school holiday period.

Directions

Driving: Thredbo is around five hours' drive from Sydney or Melbourne. The Kosciuszko Alpine Way between Thredbo and Jindabyne is clear of snow at most times during winter, so it is easily accessed by two wheel drive vehicle. Depending on conditions, every now and then snow chains may be required. These can be hired from most service stations in Jindabyne and Cooma.

Coach: Daily services link Thredbo to most major centres.

Flying: Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Qantas can get you to Canberra Airport and then a coach service can complete the journey for you, alternatively major car hire companies also operate from Canberra.

As Thredbo is located in the Kosciuszko National Park, fees are payable for entry. Passes are avaliable at the park entry gate or the newsagency located in the Village Square,Thredbo.

Free parking directly across from the River Inn.
When entering Thredbo from Jindabyne on the Alpine Way, turn right to the Village and continue past the roundabout at Friday Flat. The River Inn is located 150 meters along on the right hand side. Drive up to the front entrance for luggage and passenger unloading.
