The Lodge Smiggins

Description

Experience the warmth and friendly hospitality of this Alpine Style Chalet, which caters for singles, couples and families, boasting spectacular views of the mountains. Room types at The Lodge range from Deluxe to Budget catering from couples to larger families looking either for that luxury getaway or a holiday on a budget.

All rooms have their own en-suites and are serviced daily. Wake up to a healthy breakfast ready for the adventurous day ahead, returning to the spa and sauna, followed by pre-dinner canapes in front of the open fireplace. Then feast on the famous Lodge 3-4 course dinner.  Children's club starts at 6.00pm including supervised dinner offering a generous two-course meal. They then retire downstairs to their own Playroom with TV, DVD and  PS2.

The Lodge offers a free daily skiers pick-up from the Smiggins Bus Terminal.  There is Limited parking is now available at The Lodge at $25 per day which must be pre-booked.  If unavailable there is an arrival and departure transfer service. 

Room Types

Deluxe Resort View
With an uninterrupted view of the Smiggins Resort facilities, your Deluxe Resort View Room provides the best in comfort and location within The Lodge. Every room has a Queen size bed and a generous ensuite bathroom, including a bath. The rooms have cathedral ceilings and there is a loft space above the bathroom, suitable for extra storage.

Resort View Twin
Your Resort View Twin Room has a good view of the Smiggins Resort facilities and provides a very high standard of comfort and location within The Lodge. Every room has two Single beds, which can be joined together to form a spacious Double bed (as seen below), and a generous ensuite bathroom.

Deluxe Snow View
Deluxe Snow View Rooms are the ideal choice for a family of 4 at The Lodge. It may also be suitable for 3 to 4 adults who wish to share a room. Every room has a Double bed and two Single beds, which are arranged in a bunk configuration. There is also a generous ensuite bathroom. The rooms have cathedral ceilings and there is a loft space above the bathroom, suitable for extra storage.

Snow View Family
Snow View Family Rooms are an excellent choice for a family of 4 at The Lodge. It may also be suitable for a family of 5, where the children are younger. Each room has a Double bed and two Single beds, which are arranged in a bunk configuration. When required, to accommodate 5 guests, we add another Single bed beside the Double bed (as seen in the top picture). There is also a generous ensuite bathroom.

Snow View Twin
Snow View Twin Room is the choice for a budget stay for 2 at The Lodge. The room has two Single beds. These can be joined together to form a spacious Double bed. There is also a generous ensuite bathroom.

All rates are on per person.
Prices includes dinner & breakfast on a daily basis
A single occupancy premium of 50% applies to Resort View Rooms, except in peak season where the premium is 100%
Minimum age of 3 yrs for children (subject to toilet training)
Older children aged 12 and older may be upgraded to adult meals - upgrade cost $25 per night per child
Limited onsite car parking - must be pre-booked and pre-paid - $25 per night per car - conditions apply

Travelling By Car
Car must be left at the Bullock Flat parking area and the ski tube taken to Perisher followed by oversnow transport

* From Sydney: Take the Hume Highway south-west to Goulburn, then the Federal highway south to Canberra or Queanbeyan.

* From Canberra/Queanbeyan: Take the Monaro Highway south to Cooma, then the Snowy Mountains Highway south-west to Jindabyne.

* From Jindabyne: Take the Perisher Road (kosciuszko rd) to Smiggin Holes

Travelling By Air
The nearest commercial airports to Perisher Valley are at Cooma and Canberra.

The Snow Express Shuttle bus meets all flights to and from Snowy Mountains Airport at Cooma. Bookings are essential
