Description
Only 400m from the slopes this traditional style lodge as a warm atmosphere ideal for that group, couple or family holiday. The Swagman Chalet is a budget ski lodge with perfect views of the mountains, so you can wake up to fresh snow outside your window and a hot hearty breakfast to keep you going all day.
The chalets over-snow transport takes you to the foot of the lifts and even pick you up at the end of the day. After an exhilarating day on the slopes relax returning large guest lounge with open fireplace, with a game or in the TV/DVD room. The day will be finalised with a satisfying meal in the licensed dining room.
The Swagman Chalet offers friendly, comfortable rooms that are cosy with centrally heating, electric blankets and doona guarantee a great night's sleep after a great day on the mountain.
With no parking in Perisher access to via the ski tube is made easy with luggage transport on arrival & departure Friday and Sundays.

All prices include daily hot breakfasts, three-course dinners and over-snow transport to and from ski lifts, and upon arrival and departure from Perisher Ski Tube Terminal.
Also, free luggage storage upon arrival and departure if outside normal check-in/out times (2pm/10am).

Travelling By Car
Car must be left at the Bullock Flat parking area and the ski tube taken to Perisher followed by oversnow transport
* From Sydney: Take the Hume Highway south-west to Goulburn, then the Federal highway south to Canberra or Queanbeyan.
* From Canberra/Queanbeyan: Take the Monaro Highway south to Cooma, then the Snowy Mountains Highway south-west to Jindabyne.
* From Jindabyne: Take the Thredbo Road (Alpine Way) to the ski tube

The nearest commercial airports to Perisher Valley are at Cooma and Canberra.
The Snow Express Shuttle bus meets all flights to and from Snowy Mountains Airport at Cooma. Bookings are essential

Car Park
Due to overnight snowfalls during winter, there is no parking at Perisher Valley itself. We recommend that you leave your car at Bullock's Flat (on the Thredbo Road). You are not required to carry snow chains and the parking is free. You can then travel by Skitube to Perisher. Please contact us beforehand to check snow conditions.
The Skitube train runs regularly from Bullock's Flat to the Perisher Skitube Terminal.
Free oversnow transport is available on arrival and departure and daily to and from the Perisher Skitube Terminal. Please contact the lodge beforehand with your expected arrival time.
