How to get thereTo New Zealand - The best international airport to arrive at in New Zealand is Christchurch. From Christchurch either hire a car and drive or take a daily domestic flight to either Queenstown or Wanaka. There are weekly flights to Queenstown from Australia (Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne) during the winter season. To the mountain - Snow Park NZ has on snow accommodation or 3 standards otherwise stay in Wanaka (35km) or Queeenstown (55km). There are shuttles that run from both Wanaka & Queenstown daily otherwise there is plenty of parking if you decide to drive, but don't forgot to hire chains. Terrain park factsSnow Park NZ is not just for advanced riders. The special Half Pint Park which is approximate 30% of the terrain is for novice riders, and with progressive terrain including over 40 rails/boxes and jumps ranging from 35ft to 65ft throughout the park you riding skills will greatly improve. Located on the mountain, there is New Zealand's first on mountain village. This Snow Park Village includes luxury apartments, backpacker bunkrooms and the Woolshed Restaurant and bar. The Woolshed Restaurant does breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with room service available to the apartments. For more nightlife and alternative activities and accommodation, take a short drive to Wanaka or Queenstown.
