By Car it is approximately 4.5hrs from Melbourne and from Sydney take the Hume to Albury and on to Mt Hotham. ALL vehicles must carry chains in the national park. Chains can be hired from Myrtleford, Bright or Harrietville. Alpine driving can be hazardous, a popular way to Hotham is to leave your car in secure parking at Harrietville and catch the coach.
By Coach; From Melbourne take the Snowball express direct to Mt Hotham, 6hrs.
By Air; Fly direct to Mt Hotham airport from Melbourne or Sydney and take the easy 20km transfer to your Hotel.
It's not just about riding in Mt Hotham the views from every peak are just spectacular and unlike most resorts beginner don't have to wait till your good to get the views both beginner areas gain the views, it doesn't get better than this! Intermediates can get to learn the resort with the help of the friendly local mountain guide on Mondays or Saturdays. Whether you're a trail carver or powder muncher Mt Hotham will keep you occupied.
Snowboarder new and experiences will not be disappointed. The snowboard school will have you riding the natural gullies, bowls, hits, berms, lips and open powder stashes in no time. Hotham's freestylers will not be disappointed with the perfectly groomed park and pipe.

Like any great resort Hotham's après ski starts in the afternoon on the terraces as the sunsets, the view is not to be missed. With over 20 restaurants to choose from you are spoilt for chose. Hotham's après ski does not end there theme nights, live music and dance parties will entertain you into the early hours.
