How to get there
By Air - The closest airport to Falls Creek is Albury with direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne. Falls Creek coach service can pick up from the airport. Otherwise, travel in style via helicopter on a 30 minute flight over Victoria's highest peak, Mt Bogong, with spectacular views of Victoria's high country.
By Car it takes about 4 and a half hours from Melbourne or 9 hours from Sydney. Don't forget all vehicles must carry chains. Chains can be hired from Mt Beauty. There is no fuel in Falls Creek so make sure you fill up, the last fuel is Mt Beauty.
If this is all too much hassle, park your car at the bus terminal in Mt Beauty at the base of Falls Creek and relax in comfort as you travel up to the resort in a luxury coach. Daily coach services and secure long-term car-parking are available through Falls Creek Coach Service.
Once in Falls Creek there is Over-snow Transport to get you to your accommodation, be aware that Friday nights and Sunday afternoons are the busiest times for these services and regularly incur waiting in excess of one hour.

The resort has the longest beginner run in Australia, in Wombat's Ramble, which has snow making right down the entire length for you to enjoy, however if you want to discover more alpine fun back in the village, then Falls Creek offers it all.
The Terrain Park, located at Headwater, includes a halfpipe and series of obstacles set and re-set during the season. The park, suitable for boarders and skiers of any ability, offers three separate courses which let you improve your capability and skill level before moving to the next higher level.
