Last report of the season

Last report of the season

By Mike Ditchburn - 10 September 2009

Thank you all for checking your mail and I hope you enjoyed the photo's.
I look forward to bring you reports from the northern hemisphere this summer.
These are some of the best photos of the season.

Snow in the last 7 days - 10 cm - NSW / 16 cm - VIC

Snow in the last 24 hours - 0 cm

Snow Depth - 140 cm average across NSW resorts, 95 cm across Victorian resorts.

Forecast

Spring skiing is great, clear blue sky's warmer temperatures and t-shirts, what more could you want!  There is no real snow on the long range charts and no rain either, just mainly blue sky days.

Trails and Lifts

With over a 1 metre base across all Australian resorts there is still a good amount of snow to last till the end of the season.  It will start firm and soften pretty quickly under the sun.  Fatter skis will help you crush the crud and get you to the bar quicker!

Enjoy
