Description

Candlelight Lodge, one of Thredbo's original guest houses built in 1958 is the classic Thredbo snow accommodation option with many modern amenities and features yet still retaining the original charm of yesteryear.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All rooms enjoy unsurpassed views of Thredbo and most have balconies. Serviced daily your room has a television and DVD player, telephone, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, own bathroom and all linen and towels are provided. Family rooms have X-boxes. Games and movies are available at reception at no charge.

In winter you will enjoy your daily fabulous cooked breakfast before you venture onto the slopes.  The fully licensed a la carte restaurant and bar has been part of Thredbo folklore for several decades. We feature both Australian and international cuisine, however, a favourite with our patrons and specialty of the house is fondue which is available nightly. The bar has European beers and imported Schnapps on offer and for those sometimes important not to be missed occasions we also have Austar in the bar. A feature of any stay at Candlelight Lodge is to join the other guests in the bar and on the deck to watch the weekly flare run before fireworks light up the mountain each Saturday at 6pm during the ski season.

Directions

Candlelight Lodge is centrally located on Diggings Tce within 100 metres of the village square. Our position in the village, being in the heart of Thredbo, allows for easy access on foot to all amenities. However, the courtesy shuttle bus stops right outside the front door in case you've had an exhausting day on the slopes.
