Description

Located in the heart of Falls Creek's village bowl. The closest chairlift is only 20 metres downhill for skiing out, and for skiing home you simply follow the home trail off the mountain and ski/board to your locked door. For black run skiers the Summit chairlift is only 50 meters away, and on a powder day you wouldn't go anywhere else.

These apartments are ideal for families or a group of friends. They cater for 4,6,8,10 and 12 people with a range of luxuries to suit your budget. 

All apartments include fully equipped kitchens, living/dining areas, bedrooms with linen and towels provided, some have a BBQ on the apartment balcony or use the BBQ provided on our terrace level, most have a laundry in the apartment, DVD/Video players, Austar television, and your own drying cupboard for ski clothes. Keep in touch with the village activities from your own private balcony or our terrace level. All within walking distance, you will enjoy snow tubing, bungy trampolining or a meal at one of the local restaurants or cafes.

At Alpine View Apartments there is a sauna to soothe those tired muscles, broadband internet, fax services and secure ski/board lockers. They have a staffed reception for ease of checking in and out, and for answering any questions which help make your holiday more enjoyable.  If you arrive early or would like to ski on your last day store your gear for the day and use the quest bathrooms with shower and towels provided to prepare for your journey home.

By Road
Falls Creek is the closest alpine resort to Brisbane, an easy day's drive from Sydney & four and a half hours drive from Melbourne. There are lots of options to get to Falls from driving all or part of the way to letting someone else take care of that for you. Carrying snow chains is compulsory during the snow season and can be hired at several outlets in Mt. Beauty.

No petrol is available at Falls Creek so make sure you fill up before you come up. In winter, diesel vehicles should fill up with Alpine Diesel from Mt Beauty or other local suppliers to ensure their vehicle works correctly in the cold conditions.

Drivers should also check at the local service stations their anti-freeze levels. This can be done with a 'Glycometer' and may save you a lot of time and money.

Oversnow Transport
If you are going to be using Oversnow Transport to get to your accommodation, be aware that Friday nights and Sunday afternoons are the busiest times for these services and regularly incur waiting in excess of one hour.

If you can avoid these peak times at Oversnow Transport by arriving Sunday morning or Friday throughout the afternoon before the service really gets busy you will enjoy a much smoother transfer experience. Travelling on other days may also be an option if they can match with your accommodation.

Most for the accommodation has no parking, and you will have to use oversnow transport, please check when booking.

As you drive into Falls Creek can drop off your luggage and passengers at the Oversnow transport terminal (on the left as you drive in).

You will then be guided by resort staff on which car park to use.
